Who’s Driving? Bear’s Driving!

WD?BD! Are a six piece pop punk band from Witham. The guys have only been together since 2009 but have already built themselves a huge local fan base and have shared the stage with some of Essex’s biggest bands such as Fei Comodo and Forever Never.

They have even sold out their debut EP and their debut video has received air play on perhaps the biggest alternative music channel there is.

The peak of the “pop punk” movement was almost a decade ago, lead by American based bands such as Blink 182, Sum 41 and New Found Glory, but we’re hoping these guys will be leading the comeback!

In a music scene traditionally full of guys with huge fringes and girls with every coloured hair craving attention, it’s a massive breath of fresh air to find a group of guys who are doing their own thing and not following the traditional, over-exposed stereotypes. They have a quirky, fun image and don’t take themselves too seriously!

WD?BD!’s new mini album is available to download now for free and is packed full of infectious songs, quirky lyrics and a metric ton of energy.

2010 saw the guys debut video for the song I Wish I’d Never Met Me featured on Scuzz and they have just finished recording a video for If You’re Going to Dance Like That We Are Going to Laugh at You, which looks set to have the same, if not more success!

In 2011 the band will be touring across the UK and are planning to hit the studio to work on follow up material. Watch out for the boys over the coming months, because if their previous achievements are anything to go by, Bear will be driving right into your iPods!
